How to Fix it: Choose low-noise appliances, test everything overnight yourself, and if noise is unavoidable, offer earplugs on the nightstand. Small touch—big win.
One rogue hair on the sheets or towel is enough to make guests feel like things weren’t cleaned properly.
3. Funky Drains
Unused drains and sinks can develop a sour, musty smell that wafts up and ruins the fresh vibe.
How to Fix it: Pour ½ cup of white vinegar down every drain (including toilets) if the space will sit empty. Add lemon peel + ice in the garburator for a fresh scent.
