DIY Lavender Pillow Spray
This recipe has only 3 ingredients. That’s it! Lavender is a soothing, relaxing scent that aids in restful sleep. I use distilled water for my pillow spray because it is purer than regular tap water. You can make distilled water on the stove. but, if you don’t have time, tap water will work just fine.
The use of Vodka, or which hazel, will help dissolve the oil in the solution and preserves the scent. It also lasts longer + evaporates faster, and don’t worry it won’t have a boozy smell. Witch hazel has a similar effect, as it is an astringent.
What You’ll Need:
- 1 Tbsp Unscented Witch Hazel
- 15-20 drops Lavender Essential Oil (known for its relaxing effects)
- Fill rest with distilled water, bottled or tap water.
- Cobalt, amber or clear glass small spray bottles
Mix the witch hazel and essential oils together first in the glass bottle. Then, simply add your water, close and shake. Use a funnel or just pour directly from a measuring cup with a spout into the bottle. That’s it!
