Gold Popsicle Stick Christmas Trees

Looking for a last-minute DIY Christmas craft? These glittering gold popsicle stick Christmas tree are such a fun and simple craft to make. The gold color makes them very versatile, they look equally great on the Christmas tree or dangling from a present. Popsicle stick trees take no time to whip up and they look chic and minimal (and nothing like a popsicle stick craft!) Kids will love making these and they are so pretty you will definitely keep them for future Christmas trees.

Materials

Instructions
Cut the popsicle sticks into 5 pieces in  1″, 1-1/2″, 2″, 2-1/2″ and 3″ lengths.
To cut the popsicle sticks use a ruler and a utility knife to firmly cut into the popsicle stick on both sides of the popsicle stick a few times. Then bend it and it will snap apart where you cut it.

Line up the cut 5  popsicle stick pieces evenly on a full popsicle stick and glue them in place with a hot glue gun.

Paint the tree with 1-2 coats of the gold paint.Once the paint is dry add a generous coat of glittery sparkle glue to the tree. I used a popsicle stick to spread the glue onto the tree.Cut your ribbon into lengths and press each piece firmly onto the tree, let dry well.Turn the tree over and place a glob of hot glue in the middle of each segment, to glue the ribbon together ( trim ribbon if needed)Knot together a 6″ piece of ribbon and place under the top segment to hang.

There you go! Easy, beautiful and ready for Christmas! Thanks to share on Pinterest if you liked this project!
